Using ESIA information for monitoring - Bolivia

Santa Cruz de la Sierra - How can you use ESIA information in the follow-up and monitoring of a 300 km road upgrade project?  This was the subject of 3-day workshop for local CSO's (SRJS partners), authorities and other stakeholders alongside the road concerned. The workshop focused on several arrangements in the ESIA which could be monitored and acted upon by the participants. Such as prevention and mitigation, implementation and monitoring, compensation and consultation. At the end, practical intervention strategies were developed to be used directly in the coming weeks.
