New! SEA guidelines Uganda

Following the approval of the Strategic Environmental Assessment Regulation in March 2020, NEMA published the SEA guidelines. It is a clear and practical guide explaining the different steps in the SEA process, such as screening and scoping, how to engage stakeholders and influence decision-making.

We enjoyed being part of the process and congratulate NEMA with this useful publication. It will most certainly support the people in Uganda, working towards a sustainable future and inspire other countries working on the implementation of their SEA framework.
