First SEA to start in Paraguay

Paraguay is ready to start with its first SEA! The SEA will accompany the Masterplan for Urban Development Chaco-í in Asunción. The SEA will be undertaken by the Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Habitat and is funded by WWF-Paraguay. To prepare government agencies as well as the consortium that will carry out the SEA, the Ministry and WWF organised a 3 day workshop and site-visit, tailored to SEA for urban development. Based on previous cooperation with WWF, we were asked to organise the training including case studies and experiences.

This was our first activity under a new MoU we signed with WWF, following the succesful cooperation in the Shared Resources Joint Solutions programme.
