Completed: new Sustainability Analysis

How can countries use available knowledge on sustainable development dilemmas for meaningful decisions and actions? The NCEA completed a Sustainability Analysis about this topic. It proposes a new governance perspective for analysing such dilemmas, tested on the case of the Netherlands.

  The concept of storing electrical energy in hydrog

Egypt: SEA and green hydrogen value chains

Green hydrogen is conquering the world. NCEA participated in a visit of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy to Egypt. Part of the programme was to give a presentation about opportunities and risks of green hydrogen and the added value of SEA for developing hydrogen value chains.

We are proud to present the first part of a new animation series on SEA. The series is made up of two parts; part 1 focuses on the ‘why’ of SEA. The second part will be developed shortly and will focus more on the ‘how’ of SEA.

  Workshop Ethiopia june 2024

Ethiopia: NCEA and BRIGHT Project Host SEA Training

In cooperation with the BRIGHT project, we hosted a three-day introductory training on SEA in Addis Abeba. BRIGHT aims to improve water management in five major basins.
