Significant details
The city of Jakarta wants to expand seawards. East of the port of Tanjung Priok, the city is planning three artificial islands (the so-called O,P and Q islands) to accommodate a port, industries, logistics facilities and residential areas. A grant is being sought from the Netherlands Develop2Build (D2B) programme for the first development phase of this project.
