7025-04. SEEAC - Health
2020 - SEEAC elaborated a new guidance document on how health can be better taken into account within ESIAs. It is financed by IFDD (l’Institut de la Francophonie pour le Développement Durable). The challenge is to get a balance between focussing on Health within the ESIA process, without making a specific guidance document on ESIA. Another challenge is to make it clear what the difference is between HIA and health within ESIA and how HIA can be a useful tool during the elaboration of an ESIA.
