The NCEA received a request from the Colombian Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADS) to advise on an update of Generic ToR for EIA for onshore hydrocarbon exploitation projects. There is currently a draft of these ToR available, on which a joint review with ANLA (Colombian National Environmental Licensing Agency) has started. Later on, this will also be discussed with the Hydrocarbons Sector and the Colombian Ministry of Energy and Mining.

MADS indicted 8 specific topics on which they would like to receive contributions and guidance, in relation to the specific chapters and subchapters. The NCEA advisory report can be found below.
