Workshop in China: exchanging SEA experiences

Together with the Chinese Appraisal Center for Environmental Engineering (ACEE), the NCEA organised a workshop in China (5-6 December). For two days, participants exchanged their experiences with the use of SEA, with a focus on its application to sustainable infrastructure planning. The workshop was part of the ongoing cooperation between the Dutch Ministry for Infrastructure and Environment and the Chinese Ministry for Environmental Protection.

Afterwards, the Dutch Secretary General for Infrastructure & Environment, Ms Lidewijde Ongering, met with the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED). She used the results of the workshop in her presentation.
