ESIA diagnostic tool for the mining sector launched at IGF annual meeting

Rob Verheem, director of the NCEA, will speak at the IGF annual conference on a new ESIA diagnostic tool for the mining sector. This tool will be officially launched during the session and illustrated with recent pilots in Lesotho and Ethiopia. It will also unveil steps governments can take to analyse and improve their ESIA legal frameworks and processes in practice to support sustainable mining.
