Reuse of dredge material, collaboration the Netherlands - Colombia

To provide input for the implementation of the National Plan for Maritime Dredging of Colombia, experiences and practice on the reuse of dredged material in Colombia and the Netherlands were shared in a series of 5 webinars. The NCEA contributed to one of the webinars with case presentations of ESIAs for the Varadero Canal in Colombia en the Sand Engine in The Netherlands.

After the webinars, ESIA / SEA was identified as one of the topics to be furthere elaborated in 2021. The NCEA was asked to stay involved as an independent advisor.
