New MoU with Central African Regional EIA association

February 2014 –Yaoundé, Cameroon. The NCEA and the Secretariat for Environmental Evaluation in Central Africa (SEEAC) signed a MoU for support and cooperation for the period 2014-2018. This MoU follows assistance to SEEAC from 2008 to 2013, in the context of a regional capacity development programme for national EIA associations (PAANEEAC). Building on PAANEEAC, SEEAC will continue its support to its member associations, regional harmonisation and capacity development. It wants to strengthen its position as a centre of excellence and as a partner to Central African governments responsible for EIA.
