New vice-chair NCEA international

We would like to welcome Ms Tanya van Gool as our new vice-chair at the NCEA. She succeeds Mr. Rudy Rabbinge, who retired after nine years of very much appreciated service.

Tanya van Gool, joining the team of 7 (vice-)chairs of the Commission, will mainly be involved with our international activities. She has a long state of service working for the Dutch ministry of foreign affairs. Among her many duties, she was an ambassador in Bolivia, Kenya, Surinam, Romania, a permanent representative at the UNEP and special envoy for sustainable development. She also represented the European Union as an ambassador in Colombia. Her international and diplomatic experience will be a great asset to our international team. We are looking forward to working with her!
