MoU with Ministry - South Sudan

Invited by the Dutch Embassy, we visited South Sudan to explore opportunities to support governmental institutions with the introducing ESIA. Since South Sudan is a relatively young country, its ESIA system is not legally established yet. However, the people we talked to are very enthusiastic and eager to build a robust ESIA system from scratch, which will contribute to sustainable investments and development.

To start up the process, we signed an MoU with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) to further explore the needs and feasibility to develop a multi-annual programme for the introduction of ESIA. We are very much looking forward to this cooperation.
