Minister Kaag signs MoU development plan Mali

Mopti, 29 june - Mr Etienne Bello, chair of the joined local governments of the Sourou area in Central Mali, and the Dutch minister for Foreign Trade and Development Sigrid Kaag, signed an MoU for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Plan for the Sourou area (PDIDS).

The PDIDS, for which an SEA was carried out, invests in socio-economic and environmental projects that contribute to climate change adaptation, creating conditions that help to prevent conflict. The NCEA supported the SEA process, being one of the first in Mali.
