Jordanian delegation visits the NCEA

In April, a Jordanian delegation visited the NCEA’s office in Utrecht for a knowledge exchange on planning for urban environments. The visit was part of a broader tour programme in the Netherlands on water management and climate adaptation in urban areas, organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).

The delegation comprised high level representatives from the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, the Ministry of Local Administration, the Greater Amman Municipality, and an environmental and climate change journalist.

During the visit, we shared our insights on urban planning in the Netherlands, involving strategic environmental assessment. We also looked back on our cooperation in recent years and discussed possible future projects. We thank the Jordan delegation for an inspiring exchange!
