Norwegian - Dutch donor coordination: EIA/SEA in the oil and gas sector

Olso, Norway - 16th of January 2015. The NCEA met with the Norwegian Environmental Agency (NEA). The NEA is a key implementing party of the Norwegian Oil for Development programme (funded by NORAD). We explored (planned) activities and possibilities for synergy in the countries where both the NEA and the NCEA work on EIA / SEA in the oil and gas sector. Especially in Zanzibar/ Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana and Myanmar there are quite some opportunities for coordination.
