Coaching SEA integrated Masterplan

The NCEA joined a mission to the Chalan Beel, which is one of the priority areas under the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100. This region faces multiple challenges, such as uncontrolled floods, droughts and the loss of biodiversity.

The Dutch government wants to support local authorities in the development of an integrated Masterplan to deal with these challenges. The Masterplan is accompanied by a Strategic Environmental Assessment to ensure – among others things – stakeholder participation and development of various alternatives . The NCEA is looking forward to coaching this SEA process.
