Coaching of SEA underway - Lac Nokoué, Benin

The NCEA visited Benin as part of the coaching of the SEA for the Lac Nokoué Rehabilitation Plan. The SEA is now in its scoping phase, at the end of which the competent authority will select three development scenario’s to be studied in more detail. We attended public participation workshops, conducted field visits to the Lake, and met with various stakeholders. We are impressed with all the work and energy put into the SEA and the development of the plan so far. Looking forward to the next phase!
