Building SEA experience in Bangladesh and Cambodia

Together with trainers from the Swedish international training programme on SEA, the NCEA visited Bangladesh and Cambodia. The aim was to assess the need for support in developing the strategic environmental assessment (SEA) system and capacities of both countries. Both Bangladesh and Cambodia have developed draft SEA legislation that they plan to adopt in 2017. Since SEA experience in the countries is limited, the NCEA will organise trainings and support pilot SEA processes.
