Benin: a shared vision for Lac Nokoué

“The NCEA’s neutrality was a great asset during our meeting!” At the end of June, the NCEA facilitated a meeting in Benin that brought the Lac Nokoué programme to a close. During this meeting, representatives of various governmental organisations discussed and ultimately adopted a vision for the Lac Nokoué region and an action plan to realise this. Since 2021, the NCEA had been involved in coaching the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) for this programme, which studied the environmental and social impacts of the action plan to realise this vision.
