A new colleague...

It is with great pleasure that we introduce to you Ms Joyce Kortlandt as a new colleague to our international team. Joyce joined the NCEA in March as a Technical Secretary. She has a master's degree in biology and extensive experience in environmental and development-related policy and advocacy.

Before joining the NCEA, she worked for Wetlands International with a focus on the Sahel, and for Oxfam on a wide range of countries and themes. She looks forward to using her experiences of advocacy and stakeholder engagement around social and environmental issues to strengthen the role of environmental assessment in decision making.
