2023-2032: a new cooperation between NCEA and Ministry of Foreign Affairs

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new 10-year cooperation agreement with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the ministry, the NCEA's activities perfectly align with its greening objectives of the Dutch agenda for foreign trade and development, to which the NCEA can make a unique contribution. Also, in the Netherlands International Climate Strategy (2022), the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development states that it is important to improve environmental impact assessment systems which provide scope for appraising the non-financial effects of investment decisions on the environment, the climate and biodiversity.

We are grateful for this confidence in our organisation, largely based on our achievements over the past 30 years. We look forward to continuing to share knowledge and expertise on the added value of environmental and social assessment for sustainable investment and long-term development around the world. Above all, we look forward to continuing to work with so many enthusiastic and ambitious people - representing governments, the private sector and communities - who share a common goal: to work towards sustainable development now and in the future.
