SEA for Green Hydrogen

Interesting prospects in Mauritania! In December, the NCEA was invited by the Ministry of Petroleum, Mines and Energy of Mauritania to discuss the coaching of an SEA for the Hydrogen Sector. The enormous international interest in green hydrogen (notably in the EU) necessitates careful planning and strong management of the sector. An SEA is a first step to ensure that Green Hydrogen can be an instrument for sustainable development. The Ministry of Petroleum, Mines and Energy, together with the Ministry for Environment, will formally request the NCEA to first review the scoping Terms Of Reference and then to coach the further development of the SEA.
