Partner countries Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs
As the international department operates under an agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we focus on countries eligible for Dutch International Cooperation see the list on the right hand side.
A special assignment within this contract is a 5-year programme in Central Africa (in addition to Burundi and Rwanda, the countries Cameroon, CAR, and Congo as well).
As part of short-term contracts with other donors (e.g. Dutch Ministry of the Environment, World Bank, European Commission, FMO etc.) we also work in other countries. Activities concern assignments as part of capacity development programmes and exchange programmes, advisory reports on ToR/reviews of EIA /SEA studies, or training sessions and workshops.
In the Netherlands, the NCEA is known as the Commissie voor de m.e.r.. In The Netherlands, we are a statutory body with its duties laid down in the Dutch Environmental Management Act. We prepare mandatory and voluntary advisory reports for the government (national, provincial and local) on the scope and quality of environmental assessments (EA).
