7220. SESA for River Stabilization Plan - Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) has requested the NCEA to review and conduct a training program for BWDB officials on Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment (SESA) of the River Stabilization Plan under the "Flood and Riverbank Erosion Risk Management Investment Program. A draft version of the preliminary SESA study has been reviewed and the suggestions for adjustments are presently elaborated in the next version of the SESA report. In the 2nd quarter of 2018 the NCEA will review this updated SESA report and will publish an advisory review report.
