7219. EIA review training Uganda

The NCEA will assist the Norwegian Environmental Agency in facilitating a training on environmental impact assessment (EIA) in Uganda. The training will take place in the last week of March 2017 and focus on skills for reviewing EIA, specifically for field development and associated projects in the petroleum sector in the Albertine Graben area. The training is organized by the Ugandan National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) and is targeted at 25 participants from the so-called environmental pillar institutes.
