SEA capacity development in Georgia
Last September, an association agreement was signed between the EU and Georgia. The introduction of SEA was identified as a priority for the country. Two Netherlands ministries decided to offer financial support for an SEA introduction programme. The NCEA, which already has long standing cooperation with the Georgian Ministry of Environment (since 1999), will execute this 18 months programme. It is currently preparing its capacity building activities, which will start in February 2015.
