New colleagues!

1 October 2019

It is with great pleasure that we welcome two new colleagues to our international team:

Anouk Werensteijn (L), is our new project secretary. With a master in film and television studies, she previously worked for the education department at the Dutch Filmmuseum. After 9 years she felt it was time for a change, and now she is looking forward to working, among other things, on the theme of sustainable development.

Paula Dobbelaar (R) is our new technical secretary. She has a masters degree in integrated water resource management and has held several senior positions at the Dutch Regional Water Authority Aa and Maas (River Bassin Manager), the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and most recently at the Ministry of Energy & Water in Mali. Her priority theme is integrated water resource management (IWRM) especially its governance and during her work she spent an extensive period abroad, in Mali, Burkina Faso and Russia.

And on November 1st, we said goodbye to Vanda Fortes. Vanda worked for us as a project secretary and after 7 years, was ready to persue new career opportunities. We are very grateful to her for everything she has done for us, her skilful and joyful input and for being a wonderful colleague in general. We wish her all the best for the future!
